Missed yesterday, but I'm back

I've always felt like northern shoveler ducks are "unassuming." Quietly flying under the rader, looking vaguely like mallards.

Art is from a local duck personal project from while back.

for is "Earthly."

These are a couple of my older works, circa 2013-14. Earth science is always on my mind in one way or another. These pieces are an exploration of the incredible, unfathomable geologic time scale of our planet Earth.🌐

- it’s time to meet your unassuming (but important) inner fish.

I nearly forgot about Now I have some catching up to do.

is "Massive" -- sauropods are definitely my favorite massive subject matter to illustrate! 🦕

Updated my panel of Tunas for today's prompt 'kinetic'. These fish are known to be good at saving kinetic energy during swimming!

Diceros bicornis aka rhinocéros noir, crayolas/encre et gouache sur kraft épais.
Dans la marge deux autres petits croquis
Il aurait pu être "earthly" aussi :)

Yesterday's prompt was 'rosy' and I opted for one of my favorite snakes, the rosy boa! These critters are wonderful to interact with, have a lovely disposition, and come in a handful of natural color variations depending on where they originate from.

It's
Day 4 'massive'

Here is one of the most massive things I know - the humongous fungus in Oregon (dark honey fungus, Armillaria ostoyae) which extends over 4 sq miles!

8 46

Another Day two was 'little known' and I used it to draw one of my favorite lesser-known North American mammals, the spotted skunk 🦨

9 66

Roseate spoonbill for day 3 of and the prompt.

2 21

Day three of and today's prompt is 'Rosy'. Couldn't find a perfect match for the theme but here is my clown fish illustration that somewhat fits the theme!
