Elena Recco, Still life with Sea Turtle, Fish, and Squid (Hermitage, St. Petersburg). Recco was the daughter of Neapolitan still-life painter Giuseppe Recco, and worked in the court in Madrid in the late 17th and early 18th centuries.

In 1651, Baugin became a member of the French Académie.

Artist Guido Reni's work proved such an influence on him that he was sometimes called, "Le Petit Guide".
