It's not as performant as the old code. It runs 60-90% slower. Though, it shouldn't be an issue unless you're running thousands of them. In my experience, with that many turrets, you'll have bigger bottlenecks than the aiming/rotation code. Here's ~1200 turrets at 120fps.
