My drawing interpretation of the Diablos from Monster Hunter if it were in my Spec Evo world

It evolved from theropod wyvern and evolved the same strategies similar to pterosaurs (which the Diablos can or cannot fly) and it also evolved hooves for extra speculative evolution heh

Dino Fact!

Liliensternus (Lilienstern's One) is a coelophysoid from Late Triassic Germany! It was one of the largest known theropods of its time, with estimates usually around 17 feet long! It's also one of the best known Triassic theropods from Europe - (1/2)

Can Anyone Explain exactly what a Herrerasaurus is? To me they look like a mix of Raptor and Large Theropod (if that makes sense). Anyone know things about dinosaurs?

I was thinking of making a Sonic the Hedgehog styled OC in the image of a dinosaur, based on Carnotaurus (a real life theropod) and Glavenus (A Brute Wyvern from Monster Hunter).

See thread for poll.

Mincers are an order of vaguely theropodoid-looking decapods that are widespread across the super continent, from small fowl sized generalists to sixty foot long apex predators. One genus in particular, Theristorhynchus, has truly found great success—

I decided to give this Baryonyx a keratinized schnoz, inspired from the cornified facial integument that’s popular in other theropods. I also borrowed some cranial ornamentation from Riparovenator and Ceratosuchops.

Not really. We've had semi-aquatic Spino, which actually aged pretty well, & there were semi-aquatic dromaeosaurs. Plus swimming theropods aren't uncommon in paleo-media.

I currently subscribe to the wing feathers evolving for assisted running/display first and having a wing like shape but not as asymmetrical and flight adapted as modern birds. There is some evidence for this in the structure of certain theropod wings.

As for the reptile skin, because of it’s further distance from birds on the family tree and fossil evidence, the hadrosaurs seemed to have lacked feathering altogether, a trait most (more or less) theropods had to a degree. (4/5)

Computer kept freezing on me, but here is how far the next contestant for my Tendaguru project has come so far. Dysalptosaurus (also known as theropod snacko).

Giganotosaurus is a genus of theropod dinosaur that lived in what is now Argentina, during the early Cenomanian age of the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 99.6 to 97 million years ago. The Giganotosaurus was certainly the apex predator in its environment.

Rajasaurus (meaning "princely lizard") is a genus of carnivorous abelisaurid theropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous of India, containing one species: Rajasaurus narmadensis.
