To clear up any confusion, Gokū Black in #TheErasedChronicles is not from my fanfic's timeline. The Time Rings - and Toriyama's admittance of multiple timelines - gives me quite a bit of freedom with him. He is an alternate timeline variant of Black.
From the weirdness of Wonder Island to the wannabe villainy of Ackman, we're exploring the zany world of Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater with special guests @VegettoEX & @darrenvogtart tomorrow at 11am CST!
Send us your questions about the book and we'll answer them on the show!

I was called "cookie cutter" and "same-facey" once, all because I have a consistent style lol. Guess they've never seen Akira Toriyama's art then.😂
Yet, I actually try to make the things I draw sorta look like the species they are.

@hireillo My pixel art is influenced by pop culture nostalgia. A simpler time when we all wanted to grow up to become a Super Saiyan. A tribute to Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball Z

Toriyama's original "Jump Gorgeous Telephone Card Present" Illustration within WSJ No. 25 (1995/05/22) — The SD version of Mr. Satan & Mr. Boo were featured in the issue for Dragon Ball's final chapter!
so i was obsessed with android 13 as a kid when I was making 22, I would try to fuse the toriyama's design philosophy of 17 and 18 + 13, 14, and 15 to make 22
lore-wise, 22 is 13's estranged baby sister. He already left home before she was born so neither of them know the other
Toriyama's Illustration for the 1987 Dragon Ball Calendar within WSJ No. 5 (1986/12/19) — It's Red Ribbon "February" for long hair Bulma
Toriyama's Cover Illustration for "Bird Land Press 19" (1985/07) — Son Goku and Tongpoo enjoy a nice cruise together in this-crossover
The former is clearly inspired by the latter with how they marry past and future world elements.
