今までの大森時生作品においては、恐怖表現は、VHSのような古い質感の不気味さを利用していた印象だが、本作の映像では、エフェクトに頼らず真正面からホラー映像を作っていて、一つの変化を感じたし、終盤の一捻りからの現場ならではの恐怖体験は、なるほど劇場の活用の仕方としても上手いと思った。
