For this illustration, when I was in the designing phase, I used a 3d model to figure out the shape of the roof and windows. A bit of a distraction, I'll admit, but also helpful and really fun too!

What do caves make you feel? Do they inspire adventure or more dark and foreboding feelings?
For me they're both. I love exploring caves when I've had the opportunity. Something about the immense underground spaces fascinated me.
