actually think andre prolly had it the roughest outta all the ds characters. look at this man. he has transcended Going Hollow. his only interactions come from husks looking to buy titanite shards. he has no living space, he does all his work outta an abandoned church.

If exploring the depths of the derelicts is no joke, venturing near them is not a easy task.

If some have their automated defenses fall silent long ago, it isn't the case of some others...

So better keep an eye open for the drones patrolling the drifting husks.

Swapped out my weapon for a baselard I'd picked up earlier and cleared out the insects - at one end of the corridor are a few husks of something, and at the other is a gap that seems to lead further in but I can't get through...

I think I found a title that I really liked for this idea...

QUEST: How I Learned to Love the Planet and Myself peers into the futility of being human when surrounded by great omnipresence -- your feelings, your hopes, like personified husks, inhabiting your world and workplace.

A set of 10 stickers for Rave Husksune!
I had a lot of fun with these and I now understand how skulls work a bit better!!

scavengers

Not all drifting derelics are lifeless husks. Former thriving space habitats or gigantics starships with unattended life support became life oasis into the black abyss.

Scrappers clans fight like lions for the control of these unlikely safe harbors.

These bothersome scamps like to cause mischief, but are MOSTLY harmless. You might be able to consider them Spookies, but unlike other monsters, Netherlings lack souls. Just candy coated mischief making husks. Therefore, defeating one destroys it entirely.

a Zygomind looms in the distance. This creature creates intricate mindscapes that are near impossible for a normal person to escape. We shouldn't linger, the mindless husks it control are never far.

Daily Doodle Day 298: OCtober
Wisps are similar to Husks in that they come from the same source... a fallen Jinn. But unlike Husks that've lost who they are, an empty shell. Wisps are a mass of life energy without a form but all of the personality!

Daily Doodle Day 297: OCtober
Husks get their name from their origins. As the hollow body of a former Jinn, their only impulse is to survive and to destroy. They take many forms. It's hard to combat them and only the most skilled tasks are allowed to hunt them.

I had an Idea. After andra converts her slaves, their minds create a sort of pecking order, with andra at the top, and any boss bots she makes for when she's away. And these drones aren't just mindless husks, they care for one another and make sure they are fucntioning normally.

INKTOBER 06 • Mabon

'Leaves crunch under boots, husks drying and wine flowing, a time of celebration. Darkness comes sooner but the work is done and it's time to rest.'

Inktober day 6- Husky
Those are supposed to be corn husks? Really quick draw since i'm posting late. I'm not watching Duck Tales while drawing, YOU are watching Duck Tales while drawing...

day two.
For "Mindless" I've decided to go with Hollow Knight and the husks...
I think it fits perfectly, knowing what they are.

Partial husk - research

I like the idea that the spikes that turn people into husks in mass effect act a bit like nanites. Once they enter the body, even if the impaling is done to a still living subject, they keep on acting~

Isobel and her coven flew through the air, shooting anyone they wished - the souls of their victims went to heaven, but their bodies remained as soul-less husks with the witches. (Artist: Peter Nicolai Arbo)
