A little creek. Evidence that continuing to mess with a piece that's not working sometimes is just going to add more mess.

Time to leave the city and dive into the forest for a while. This is one of my favourite kinds of environments - big open forest canopies with lush green undergrowth.

Time for a few Sydney impressions! What I learnt from this was that I should think about perspective before painting.
#littlelandscapes
Another Blue Mountains study where I got a little too fiddly with small brushes I think.
#littlelandscapes
Coming back to Australia, the Blue Mountains are one of my favourite places.

Back to Nevis Range because I can't get enough of those colours.

This was referenced from a photo taken by the lovely @jennakassart with her permission. I adored the colours and while I'm pretty wobbly when it comes to built environments it's good to practice!

Still doing the #littlelandscapes when I can! This one is a bit different, as my work asked us if we wanted to do a quick rainbow piece to brighten things up. Was the perfect thing to include in my next speedpaint landscape!
Inspired by the British countryside, about 50mins
And back to the landscapes! Here is where I start trying to include buildings and everything falls apart. :D
#littlelandscapes
Another #littlelandscape speedpaint! Bit quicker this time, took around 45mins.
Also I've been recording all these landscape paintings, so will be putting together a short process video for my Patrons soon :)
A longer study of some rocks in Kurobe River, Japan that I loved a lot.

I don't think I quite captured the complicated patterns of light on the hills in this one but I like the colours.

Back to the Isle of Skye, particularly rugged and brown following winter.
#littlelandscapes
Switzerland was cloudy the whole time we were there but the occasional break made for these delightfully moody moments.

Decided to join in the #littlelandscapes challenge with @lightcrush!
Speedpainting of a old bucket I found on a walk last year, took just over an hour. I'm a tad rusty but I'm looking forward to doing more of these! Video process has been recorded for patrons as well :)
