3. It's okay to go over lines to make them thicker, doesn't have to be in one go
4. Lines don't have to stop right at the edge of the sketch, can leave a bit to erase later

I’ve noticed the smaller bits left over make the lines smoother, rather than making them stop abruptly.

@InkyTNT_SF @ShaeTheMenace (Image from @.Big_BrotherFNF) just a quick reference. Feathers are typically larger at the tip of the wing, and smaller when close to the body. Also, feathers lay flat and are smoother near where the bones (structure) are, and tend to fluff and fan out the further away from it.

@pencil_kage Id say there’s probably more. Theres one where the shapes of the shading are more defined while having harder (rougher) edges. Then there’s the more defined shading with smoother (slightly blended) edges. Then there’s the shading which seems a bit more messy ( prob more blending)

the way his arms and legs are bent overall, they adhere to the elbow and knee joints too rigidly i feel. if they rounded the joints more like in the adventure/06 era, i believe it could do a lot to make posing smoother. (3/4)
