I used to scan my traditional drawings and then color them in Photoshop back in 2007! https://t.co/NvKi20gzyg
I wonder if there's a comprehensive image guide to terms of JP traditional clothing for each gender/occupation/class/era coz it'll helps a lot lot lot on my character designs :((((
Also I think they could do more with wa lolita fashion beyond just "poofy skirt and long sleeves"
Shading in things manually like this helps create natural variation in the shadows making it much less "sterile" as opposed to just using the fill tool.
If you want a less digital look, using methods of coloring closer to traditional is the best thing to do.
I kinda prefer CSP coz it got a user made ballpoint brush that fits my criteria (even though the download numbers are low) and I want my drawing to look "more traditional media" instead of being glossy-digital-clean so yeah rip
well, since csp are being an arse, pirate it lul
Date with Milftoria, to celebrate Saint George's Day. Such knighthood tradition had to be also done for the king of knights too

Anyways... here's the natural progression of my art for those wondering. I've been drawing for about 15+ years now.
During my traditional days I was never really one to skimp out on details, so I always wanted to detail super crazy.
Nowadays? More of the same just refined.
Traditional body..
(Since the clothes size is small, I don't draw much.🥲)
