I've been seeing fanart depicting Smeargle and Grafaiai as rivals/enemies. While I do think it's a fun idea and those artists did a great job with them, as someone who loves both, I do wanna see more art of these two as buddies.

Grafaiai. A new Pokémon from the Paldea region in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Related to Smeargle. It is based on the endangered lemur from Madagascar, the aye-aye. Really love this design.

Say hello to Grafaiai! When I first saw the trailer, I thought it was a Normal type. But it's actually Poison and Normal type. Looks like Smeargle is no longer the only painting Pokémon in the world.

My version of Grafaifai the idea here was the dark fur covering it’s face resembles a ski mask to hide it’s identidy better playing into the whole graffiti vibe i also wanted it to look like a Lemur Pokemon that stole Smeargles look.
