Faith Off:
Jumping Crawdaddies!
This starts off well & could have been a brilliant follow up to Homer goes to College, but it takes far too long to get started & doesn't go anywhere, it's also completely ruined by a terrible subplot of Bart becoming a faith healer
#TheSimpsons
one of the funniest things in the run is that after Boom Boom makes fun of Rictor’s hair here he slowly grows it out over the course of the next four issues like truly one of the great subplots of the nineties https://t.co/SbKiMRN3iT
33: The Tail’s Tale
Majuub being beaten and eaten and Goku regrowing his tail only to be literally thrown around by Baby made the past few eps feel like a waste of time. But the tail subplot isn’t a complete waste; Goku transforming into a Golden Great Ape is super satisfying.
#transformersanimated crossover subplot TITAN WARS revealed!
Primus’ Titan Guardians vs Unicron’s Chaos Envoys, in Kaiju Forms!

Today I bring the tragic brother, Protoman. Initially based entirely on being cool, the subplot on Power Fighters 2 were it's revealed his core has a fatal flaw and he won't let anyone fix it left a mark on young me. #megamarch #megamarço
Young Justice gave me Kaldur's deep (sea) undercover subplot so no matter how crappy it gets, it's going down as one of the greatest superhero cartoons to ever do it, I'm sorry
thinking about that minecraft stream 💔
this is basically vasko's subplot
idea goes to miss victoria villon on youtube dot com
special thanks to the rad alpha star gaming youtube for the swag commentary,,
There's also one of the greatest subplots of the series as Homer buys a baby lobster [who he calls Pinchy] with the intention of fattening up to eat the profits. I love how he treats Pinchy like one of the family, from walkies & Risotto, to a very fateful bath

Some of these subplots MIGHT be based on true events...

The 30% Iron Chef:
Not exactly memorable but does contain some great moments when Bender goes on a Masterchef style show to prove he can cook & beat annoying celebrity chef Elzar & a fun subplot of Zoidberg destroying the Professors ship in a bottle but blaming Fry
#Futurama
Future Stock:
Not the greatest of episodes but it does contain enough jokes poking fun at yuppy culture & unorthodox tactics some companies use to sell their products.
Love how everyone changes once money is on the table & the subplot of Zoidberg searching for food
#Futurama
The Cyber House Rules:
There's an OK subplot of Bender taking advantage of some orphans but this is at its best focusing on Leela having surgery to blend in & look like everyone else, love how Fry re-asserts his love for her by pointing out how beautiful she already is
#Futurama
The Daemonite subplot was one of the biggest wasted potential in the New 52. They build up all this lore across several different books. And it all amounted to a single issue crossover that ends in a cliffhanger. What a waste.
takes nyx and skold and gives them their own tender lesbian subplot in ze beast wars
On top of that great moment, theres a fun subplot of Zoidberg getting a new shell but this really steps up a gear once the Mighty Femputer appears (majestically voiced by Bea Arthur), reveals the meaning of Snu-Snu, orders the men die by it & gets very close to Bender
#Futurama
am i making a foreigner despite knowing nothing about fgos outer gods subplot? yeah lol
#Catwoman's role in the story is basically all subplot stuff. So there's a possibility that she was cut for time. But with her popularity, hopefully she was included. #Batman Long Halloween featured arguably the best Bruce & Selina content ever. Showing them as a "normal" couple. https://t.co/ub4xCgk08j
Bender Gets Made:
There's a funny subplot involving Leela being blinded (Bender's fault no less) but this is at its best in the way it homages Goodfellas, as Bender joins the Robot Mafia & faced with a crisis of conscience when his friends become their next target
#Futurama
How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back:
There's a fun subplot of Fry getting 'administrated" but this belongs to Phil LaMarr as box-ticking beuracrat Hermes trying to regain his spark (he even sings) after being replaced, love the homages to Terry Gilliam's Brazil
#Futurama
