Miku NT released! The design is...okay. I don't have much to say on anything. It feels like they took the original white version of her outfit, added frills and called it a day lol. I'm mixed because simplicity is nice but it's almost too subtle. I barely noticed a difference.

Also, too... there's a lot of echoes between Io's cards and Vora's cards, some subtle, some not so subtle. But she has an obvious YingYang ties between Io and how Io was shattered vs how Vora is reborn, and this is another echo of where Io was split, echoes how Vora came together

In the intro it's all pretty subtle. There's a little cropping top and bottom in the DOS version, due to the lower vertical resolution. The sprites and sound seem to be unchanged, but all the backgrounds look like they've have a bit of subtle refresh and enhance. Nice. 👍

Thinkin' about Ra'Maak today. I usually draw her in a cool action pose so i went for something more subtle. Also tried out a new thing where I include a negative mask on the border of dark-colored shapes.

The Heart Seraphim design was really tricky to conceptualize. I wanted a rainbow heart (of course) but it was tough to get the wings to have that shape. I think I got there in the end, but it’s subtle. Can you spot the hearts?

I know we HA! fans see Arnold and Helga keeping their relationship a secret for a while, but I think it would be super funny if it all was built up to a giant anti-climax when they decide to go public and everyone is "Yeah, we already know. You two ain't subtle."

True, but as someone who's done this for so long, I've looked back on my old designs and think I could do a lot better.
Some are really vague to what they're mixed with to the point where if you call em soley a serperior or a pikachu, I can't deny it cause it's that subtle.
