This one. It makes me sad and opens up old mental scars for me, however, it perfectly captures the pain that I endured in high school as a tall woman with proportions that were considered abnormal at the time. I love it because of what it means to me as far as symbolism.

New smp!Tommy look. He cut his hair because Dream has long hair too ( in my design)
I love to change the appearance of the character along with the changes in them, in the course of the plot. Things like clothes, hairstyles. I love to fill things with symbolism.

Wip. Thought it was done, then did a bit of reading preparing for a write-up and felt compelled to add some more symbolism.

The most obvious one is Rosemary. Rose was always my favorite and for her to get a chainsaw-wielding vampire wife is all I could ever dream of, I love when they're snarky with each other and how messy they were with their feelings towards each other, as well as the symbolism.

Wow, great! This is one of my favorite art with Connor. Full of kindness, compassion and symbolism. I realized that this is more than just a character. (August 22, 2019)
I'm so happy that you still love my arts, I thank you for every feedback, for every like & RT 💙

The golden winged serpent of Wadjet was a later day Egyptian relic but rich in deep symbolism.

Goodness these are exuberant. How beautiful. Painted by Carmelo Blandino whose work comes under the genre of Abstract Symbolism. I just love the colours and immediacy ( attention grabbing ).

Old vs new!! I didn't want to use holly for Hollyleaf at first cause it's too predictable, not a flower, and I didn't care for the symbolism... But I already had a black cat with yellow flowers, so here we are anyway 😭 These are taking forever to do but so fun

A watercolor commission for based on this fic: https://t.co/592FZRqE5E and it was so much fun to work on. I love losing myself in tender expressions and decorative symbolism. You can submit a request for works like this here: https://t.co/FEB3MhfC31

Best of luck! I think you might be inspired by this example. did this excellent illustration for me with some very good nightshade and tarot symbolism. Your own illustrations are very talented as well, so I'm sure you'll do an excellent job.

Dragons are too majestic to NOT be full of symbolism. Here's how we think they hold double meaning in https://t.co/wXlKgLu17p

There are many details I need to keep working on if I output this to large canvas but for digital sharing it's largely done. (It is killing my computer and may pick up after new GPU comes in.) Enjoy ALL THE BLATANT SYMBOLISM.

The only other artist that comes to mind that uses a style reminiscent of the early 1800s is Marc Burckhardt, though, aside from his Quetzalcoatlus piece, his dinosaurs are less reconstructions and more symbolism. (Also: red Allosaurus with blue stripes meme alert!)
