This is long overdue!!
I started off trying to run head-on at my problems with ZBrush. This is the part of the process I felt, and still feel, the most defeated when working in.
I felt I couldn't be a character artist because it wasn't shaping up as i hoped

I figured I should get decently competent in Zbrush before anything else, and seemed like the best way to do that was to make a character from start to finish, both to improve my sculpting and mainly getting comfortable in Zbrush. Yeah the ui is weird but it's the best?

I start by blocking out the major forms in ZBrush. Then I refine the shapes until I have my finished body. I retopologise the sculpt in blender. I block out the clothes around the low poly body in blender and then bring them into ZBrush to flesh them out.
