Pokémon Squirtle
Squirtle was my starter back when I first played Pokémon Blue. I remember having the book with diagrams for all the mons and being convinced that Blastoise had the highest stats (I know better now).

-Only 1st encounter in each area can be caught only if there are Poké Balls in the bag. Shinies don't count towards this rule
-All caught mons to be nicknamed
-Don't use gift mons except for Kalos starter

I don't really hate any pokemon designs specifically, I tend to actually like the dumber looking mons, but if I had to choose I would probably go Watchog as least favorite.

Okay so after talking to a few friends we narrowed down some mons they think would fit. The crest is likely Adaptability or Honesty and for my partner it'd either be a Liollmon > Dinotigermon, Dorugoramon or, Cerberumon X (not a mega but it doesnt have one)

Day 4: Eye Fan from Monster Rancher! From what I understand, this is a humanoid Suezo fan wearing a costume. As much as I appreciate Suezo as a mons game mascot, Eye Fan's "hunched", "mouthless" impression and just being a cute idea makes it the better eye monster imo
