In case I ever feel like making a low poly model I made a simplified Sera. The fluff doesnt extend past the body because since it's low poly it would be drawn on the model.
First I traced the picture to simplify the structure. Then I compared the simplified lines to the actual picture, and then I drew the initial sketch by looking at the picture and lines separately. If the traced lines and the initial sketch are overlayed, lines don't overlap.
My reference sheets are receiving a refresh, starting with Sally and her ICDF civilian wear, or Gi. Just simplified the shapes and colors, and fixed a problem I had with her old arm design.
