Another thing that really helps is having a duplicate canvas that's zoomed out, so you can make sure nothing gets lost in translation when it's resized!

This will duplicate the "Persp/Graph" layout into a custom layout at the buttom of the list. Rename it if you like, I chose "MyFav". Now that custom layout appears and you can replace any layout button when you right click

If you make a duplicate of your fully lined and coloured layer, you can set up a 'Cutter' effect layer, and use the duplicate as a mask, then you can add the Blending functions to it.

Ok so, there are plenty of duplicate Spirits for characters we already have (Meta Ridley is a skin, Young Samus is, well Samus, Yarn Yoshi is a skin, and K.Rool is already playable), so perhaps Spirits can still be playable?? That means Shantae, Geno, Chorus Kids, etc.
