The backgrounds in the sidescroller Legend of Zelda CDI games are actual physical paintings by illustrator Rob Dunlavey, with level collision placed over the drawn objects and individually animated water / fire effects. I think it's quite a beautiful and interesting method.

With Adventure: taking a lot of inspirations from V-Tamer, I wonder if we could see something like Aero V-Dramon vs Deathmon. With Orgemon vs Greymon I had the same sensation, I think that if they do the same, but with Ultimates, we'll see these effects.

2010’s Ophelia take with Good God. I was trying to push myself with water effects. Looking back it’s more painterly and muddy than intended. Still lovely (GG mostly) but I think this one needs a remake. What do you think?

Updated the colors as well as the overall design (canonized the tentacle arms and gave him some alien looking feet). Still shying away from something too colorful, but I did experiment with some iridescent eye effects.

Human form included.
