Been trying to emulate some Webtoon coloring styles I've seen in some comics. Also did a smol comparison between my normal coloring style and what I came up with.

Colored in this fun page drawn out by I decided to approach this page from a couple directions. The first version I wanted to emulate the cartoon look more so kept the colors flat w/ color holds all around. The second version I went all-in with the renders.

This is 2020-Fabu collabing with 2017-Fabu to emulate 2011-Fabu. 2011-Fabu clearly is an inferior artist but has the advantage of Paint Tool Sai, a program that the older Fabus only dream about.

Hey artist friends! I'm curious what movie, series, comic etc. helped inspire your art styles.

Mine was Lilo and Stitch and OG Dragon Ball. Their soft rounded styles always felt really fun and comforting to me, so I tried to emulate that feeling when I draw.
