Who is your favorite pony now? Mine is Izzy <3 and here you have a vector of how she probably looks with the G4 style! Follow me on Instagram:

This guy. He's more or less our hope of G5 doing what G4 often failed at, making good male characters. If this series can have us love most male characters in general, it's a plus. No more Snips and Snails or Zephyr Breeze wannabes.

I have always regretted not being an active participant in the MLP fandom until near G4's end, and I am so, so thrilled to be here for the start of G5. I'm ecstatic. Aaah.

Ok so I’ve been freaking out of the mlp news all morning, so I want to caution people from being too alarmed by the wonkiness of the possible G5 merch. G4 merch, especially early merch, always looked kinda crappy compared to the show. I’m actually really optimistic about G5!

Okay, so, I think everyone heard about that new mlp movie and saw the new main character.
So, the thing is, the moment I saw it, I wanted to make it in g4. I mean, character design is good but idk, face is kinda disturbing. So here you go, g5 turned into g4

I wasn't quite sold on the 2d designs (I just think I have a big bias towards th g4 style, so it just needs some getting used to) but the 3d render sold me on it! Super cute.

I honestly don’t know what to expect from g5, g4 was such an improvement on what my little pony was. I really don’t want them to revert to “girl show” again. I just hope they keep it a simple sweet show with important messages.

Для сравнения - G4, предыдущее поколение, давшее популяризацию поням. Тут сразу видно и характер персонажей через дизайн, и каждый в своей уникальной цветовой гамме.

My final verdict on G5 style. It has a lot of potential. Remember all the weird looking official vectors Hasbro used for G4 over the years? The soulless eyes and stuff? That's what throws me off in the G5 merch vectors. This will 100% be fixed in the actual show.

Hypothetically if these are the G5 horses while of course G4 has superior designs these ones arent makin me go "OH MY F**CK I HATE" at all. The question now becomes how they'll look in CGI & on the writing but again if its just meh
