What a heck of a year; 2022 felt like a breakthrough year for me for art, making characters, and other art stuffs that I decided to make this 5x5 besides the planned 3x3 grid (but even then, deciding what goes here was probably tough too).

Day 8: Another one-hour study of Bo Chen, different approach, and bruh...it went horribly. I did value first and then color later now it is saturated af and it burns @. I could do paint over after color layer but one hour already passed so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i think common ancestor pokemon can be a lot more interesting if you just abandon the idea that they need to be the blandest thing ever
archen, the first bird (retconned by now, but wtv) gets to just be the first bird since its a strong concept
the first fox? id say get creative
