They are very different art styles, but I am noticing a lot of design parallels between the Makoto Kobayashi mech designs in Dragon's Heaven and the bosses of Einhander. Very interesting. Can't find anything about him working on the game / in collaboration with Square.

Check out the mech I made for it's called the Phantasma! It's a testbed for several experimental systems and it's a little unstable cause of that. It uses smoke, seismic decoys, and enhanced sensors to completely disappear, and then end fights fast with the railgun!
