Backgrounds. I painted these with traditional poster color. That was very hard... I want to try it with watercolor next time. I want to be a good at painting with poster color someday. But it was so hard but very fun. I love to thinking about backgrounds.

A fully shaded and colored whole body character takes me 1 hour to finish. The first oen took 3 hours because of the simple backgroudn but art pieces like the second take me 7 hours because of the backgrounds. I try my best to keep my bgs correct.

Fun fact!

I hate drawing backgrounds. I'm not "bad" at it, I'd always rather be drawing characters than backgrounds. Like why draw Allison's room when I can draw Allison? No contest

Years ago I made a dumb rule just for fun but also to put a carrot on a stick to actually do backgrounds.

"If I post art of my OC I have to draw them with a background."

The power of OC's is phenomenal. I wonder if I did that too with animation studies....
