Seth is slowly putting the pieces together in his head. I believe someone (probably Osiris as he did with Anubis) has meddled with Seth's ascension. I don't believe he could have done this entirely covert when he was still 'living' either. (1/2)

You can't convince me that Seth's ascension wasn't forced. He has no idea what it means to become a god. Nothing but red flags for me⛳️⛳️⛳️

Gonna continue here saying that I believe this is also the reason Seth beat the hell out of Anubis in the first chapters, it was basically Seth's biggest fear coming true, Anubis directly rejected him and conspired against him. But Seth didn't leave him much choice now did he?

Which might make him reject Seth and leave him. And that was Seth's biggest fear, it would prove to him that everything Osiris said was true. But it's not, Horus is going to prove him he can be loved unconditionally for who he is, not because of how strong he is. (25/25)

But that little boy was not Anubis, it was Horus. And something tells me that Seth wouldn't mistake just ANY child for his son. Something about Horus must've felt very familiar, not just his looks but possibly even his aura/scent made Seth feel at ease. They're so similar.

The Seth we saw that day was his most raw and authentic self, this Seth allowed his true feelings to finally come out after years of surpassing them and pretending like he has no vulnerabilities anymore when he finally saw "Anubis" again, since he had been looking for him.

Seth's turning point is definitely what happened at Kemis. It is no coincidence that this is where the story begins. That day, after Seth killed all those young boys he got so high and drunk to the point his mind melted away, he took off his big mask for the very first time.

Maybe it's not hopeless. Anubis adopted so much of Seth subconsciously, there are so many traces of Seth be it Anubis' looks, or the way he fights or even thinks. There is SOMETHING there that Anubis remembers since Seth was very involved in raising him.

There is no doubt that Seth's bond with Anubis is causing him a great deal of pain, and it may be better for Seth let go of that bond because it seems hopeless at this point, but Anubis' heart aching is glimpse of hope that he IS capable of remembering something.

Showing Seth that his son is now working for him and no longer remembers him might finally break him and convince him he lost, it's over, he has nothing to cling onto anymore so he might as well just give up. And to a certain extent, it's exactly what happened. Seth broke down.
