Just reread the goldy pond arc and it's still peak promised Neverland. Every thing from the characters to the fights were so amazing and the fact that the anime skipped over this is a crime. Still one of my favorite arcs in manga.

Inuyasha didn’t need any tournament retrieval etc. arcs to go along with the story. It gave a outstanding long lasting straight forward journey as to what the main goal was for everyone

07th Expansion - Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai (2006)

Well, I'm speechless. Not even sure anymore what I expected going into it, but Higurashi is, just as Umineko, a masterpiece.

It swept me off my feet, especially in the Answer arcs. Absolute reading recommendation here.

haikyuu's character arcs are smth else: thorough approach, deliberate pacing, nice balance btw drama & awkwardness, & the sheer amount of care put into gradually mending bonds w/such rewarding outcomes — don't think anything could teach us the importance of connections better

Isayama really gave Zeke one of the most compelling arcs in the entire series. This man suffered a lot in the process but was able to find the meaning in his own life right at the very end. His final destination really gave a well-deserved payoff to his tragic journey.
