Studying Belos's face we can see that his nose is more similar to Philip's and the statue to the right. Belos is obviously human, It's hinted at a lot and at one point he even says he's been in the human realm before

One of my favourite things in Season 2 so far is how they've made details from past episodes important. Belos needed the selkidomus' scales for a Grimwalker, and he likely resurrected the basilisks to learn how to consume magic from palismans.

Vee mentions how they were brought back so that they could study how they drained magic. She also mentions that he would've catched her if she didn't run away. He being Belos since we see a scene with him when she says that. But why did Belos being the basilisks back?

Before this episode we only knew of one human that had been in the boiling iles before, that being Philip Wittebane, but both the story and the statues picture two humans. One of them is obviously Philip while the other is probably Belos. Let me explain.
