Another quick doodle of Seulgi using that brush I'm experimenting with. I think the brush is more appropriate for gestural forms since it's a bit awkward with detailing and coloring. I'll probably go back to my basic round brush after these lol
The trailer of #LegendsArceus showed off some pretty neat books with ink paintings detailing Sinnoh's environment as well as flora and fauna. That section was based on the notebooks of Japanese explorers of Hokkaido, who extensively recorded Hokkaido with ink drawings.

For a lot of pieces, I tend to work very zoomed out and try to use as few brushstrokes as possible. The more "expensive" an illustration is, the more time I spend detailing and cleaning up.
@DeePeeArts I think this is my favourite so far! Really happy with the detailing I did ☺️ Also happy with how the Chinese characters turned out! I'm suuuuuper rusty on my calligraphy 😅
