i have a few ideas for pete! i was thinking he would also be trying to get into SEA and act as a sort of miniboss in each arc, trying to subvert mickey and oswald in some cartoony way. though i tend to prefer his depiction in goof troop - more low-stakes and nuanced.

And I love seeing Donald treated as a character first rather than a punchline machine. This isn't new to the comics the show is based on, but I feel like it is to cartoons. Far as I am concerned, this show is doing for Donald what Goof Troop/A Gooofy Movie did for Goofy.
