Gotta say I love me some dragons that have forward facing scales and spikes, there's something oddly appealing about it I can't quite put into words.

Here's the version with no text (if anyone else wants to put their own text there) and no frame :>

Wasn't jiving with me when I finished the reptiles I was working on. Redid the sprite and added an important detail: Scales. Also made other changes to bring them closer to the species they're based on. Night&Day difference.

These are the results of the different upscales. I likely have to redraw anyways

Finished color of a commission.I had so much fun working on the gold detailing especially the freckles/scales. He was such a fun design to work on. I adore this character so much. Character does not belong to me, I just made the art!

I do use scanlines mostly to hide the natural blurriness associated with non integer scales, but I think I don't need that any more.

Aura, not sure if she's smiling or; but shading a white-coloured character is difficult, and then there's iridescent scales
It was like a speedpaint, but I had no timer against me (but it took over an hour)

For once I'm happy with my little scales😊
I haven't been very active lately, I'm trying to get ahead in my comics but it's a bit slow😅

I mostly do MH art and character designs, but I also do some costume making on the side with a Nargacuga done (plan to revisit) and starting the drafting for a Nergigante c: (Last photo taken by Dragonscales Photography!)

something felt a lil off with the new seregios model and upon closer inspection... it seems that they've shorter the length of his scales.

I don't really expect much else today actually lol.. I guess Seregios but seeing as Bazel already exists I'm not entirely sure they'll share the same game with 4 invaders

I say Vaal because its scales match the color in this pic (plus Sunbreak's horror theme)
