If you don't know, cel animation is the same type of animation used for the 1993 OVA. I guess at some point during production they thought it would be more appropriate to redo everything in digital.

This is very exciting since I have the Sketch to one of the Luigis and I've had it for years. I also have my first Cel that comes after the last Luigi.
