Its a 50/50 situation imo. Some of these guides are just pointing you the good stories, not confusing at all. Take Animal Man as an example, 2 runs (#1-#89) and the n52 by Jeff Lemire and thats it. Some characters dont even have more than 3 great books like Zatanna
