Giving sprites a turning animation is pretty much essential for the action to look smooth, we think. This is true especially for bigger sprites. Here's the Mushroom Lizard turning:)

I'm so glad everyone likes those doodles I did for Criken's Stardew stream. I may or may not attempt to make them into pixel busts to kinda resemble the in-game talk sprites. :'D I have no experience with pixel work though.
