Dreamcast will always be so great to me ❤️❤️😍🥰
Late 90s-early 2000s Sega games had so much flare, they were so stylish & rad!! Peak gaming era for me

I loooooove capcom fighting games. Plasma sword looks awesome but, that might just be because I love Hyato lol. Dreamcast Capcom games are fab fam. Finding a good fight stick now a days is too tough.

Thanks to the Sega Dreamcast, we can all still experience the great outdoors indoors:

We can enjoy sunny beaches.
Play squash.
Question the very nature of existence itself.
Fight giant octopi in the depths of a large ship.

So life remains, more or less, the same.

Hard to say if these have been the most influential, but they were what I was playing as a kid. MK Trilogy (PS1), Sonic Adventures (Dreamcast), Legend of the Mystical Ninja (SNES), Super Mario (N64).

I saw that suggested Aika from Skies of Arcadia as a warmup and I could not resist. Not quite how I'd hoped it would turn out, but gAH I loved this game from back in the Dreamcast days.

It was very Nausicaa/Laputa influenced, so I tried to bring some Ghibli to it!

It's hard to overstate how much the Dreamcast impacted my childhood. During a dark time I was immersed in stories of adventure or bright futures- giving me a dose of much needed optimism. The world was much bigger than I knew, and I needed to survive to see it.

MARQUEE MONDAY: MARVEL VS. CAPCOM - CLASH OF SUPER HEROES In 1998 two universes collided as arcade gamers set out to defeat Onslaught. A superb Capcom fighting game that was ported to the Dreamcast & Playstation in 1999

One of the many differences between the DC version of SA2 and all of the ports is that in the dreamcast version of Sonic's section of Cannon's Core, there's some large turning gears that are no where to be seen in SA2B.
