Last weekend about 2.2 million people went to the movies in the U S. If Alita: Battle Angel were rereleased in U S theaters in May 2021, perhaps 2% of 2.2 million, or 44,000 people, might buy tickets - or a box office of $484,000 for Alita. Regal needs to rerelease Alita.
When Alita appeared on German free tv, 2 million watched. If Alita were to appear right now on ABC TV as a free movie, perhaps 4 million would watch. Those 4 million are the target audience that might buy tickets if Alita: Battle Angel were rereleased in US theaters in May 2021
