Commission for a friend (Of my own character, Valx!) I followed SeaSaltShrimp's scale tutorial for this one and it is such a long yet satisfying process. I have a long way to go with making my characters and the background mesh well but I'm pretty happy with this one =)

The next thing is hiding/unhiding parts of a mesh. Let's say I want to focus on the face. I'd use CTRL+L after selecting a bit of the face then CTRL+I to invert the selection. Then hit the H-key to hide the rest of the model. Now I only see the face!

Alt+H to unhide everything.

Beam Emitter WIP 3

I Got all the detail i wanted added in and added some emission to certain accents of the Beam emitter. The mesh is a little wonky but I Feel pretty happy with this as my first ever Self made Mode.

this scene has literally hundreds of trees & props, consistently clocks in at 600-800 draw calls. the secret: you can have basically infinity objects -- as long as they're the same mesh with the same material. turn shadows off stuff in shadowy areas for high score

Improved vertex group selection for Now you can select multiple mesh vertex groups and put them into matching GP vertex goups as you wish. Weights are also preserved, and you can choose to use 0/1 or smooth weight for adjusting your lines :D
