Gorgosaurus libratus! One of the two Tyrannosaurids from Two Medicine and Dinosaur Park formations. 🦖🦖
I always loved how I looked it's muzzle, so elongated still powerful, in life it should have had some really prominent and spectacular keratin crests on muzzle. 😍

LOVE these two!! Also I’m a big fan of your paleoart but couldn’t decide a favorite

Uma das coisas que eu sou mais obcecado é entender a evolução das penas. E uma das coisas mais interessantes que pode também impactar a paleoarte é como foi, e pra que serviam as primeiras “penas” (isso é uma thread) 🐔

Tarbosaurus bataar female.
Colour are less bright and more sepia-tones than male, throat feathered collar is less dense.

Male bataar. Keratinous ridges on the muzzle and throat skin are brightly coloured and the feathery throat integument is quite dense, it could be a breeding male.
I imagined as a display structure rather than a functional thermo-regulation coat.

Do I count as a paleoartist if I only make two or three paleoarts?
Because I quite can.

I'm also not really a paleoartist or an artist to begin with, but I draw dinosaurs so I guess it counts as paleoart, right?

this year, i’m trying to learn i’m catching up slowly on the backlog. here is a triceratops who i couldn’t seem to make stop smiling. i thought it was cool to imagine that their frills have large eyespots.
