To take it even further, character animation does a wonderful job once again of selling archetype. Take Gran for example. Not only does he have a very simple, well rounded kit but his animations are crude & untrained. He's the embodiment of a beginner character in every way.

Second, I'm amazed at how well each character sells their archetype through their design. It's obvious that Ladiva is a grappler & Metera is a projectile zoner. Even chars that use the same weapon make this clear (these 4 all use swords but it's clear they operate differently)

Tadaa! The first finished art to my Yugioh Archetype! I was originally gonna upload all the extra deck monsters (this one is one) at the same time. But fuckit, I will upload as I finish.

Feel free to ask any lore questions, I am still cooking some up.

What was the first yugioh archetype you played and why? For me it was the original Agents.

I remember using them on YVD (Old dueling network type of program). I love Light cards and angelic/space symbolism so seeing the agents definitely intrigued me!

I'd love to be on board! I'm Gaige, and I've been in love with the cute girl mechanic/Wrench Wench archetype for basically as long as I can remember. To me it mixes the appeal of both the tomboy and nerdy girl archetypes.

The "set for life heir to a corporation" archetype sure was a lot different back in Persona 1.
