Hello I am following you and I feel a bit uncomfortable. Do you think this is copying or using improper references?

I often use models and references for my anatomy. Is that cheating for you? More or less cheating than using digital tools for art schools traditional teachers?

Exemple :

I know: my character doesn’t respect the proportions of the original, I can see it too..And I nevertheless managed to draw the foot the wrong side ! ( I corrected it on the picture I posted though). I am the agent 00 of the tracing/ copying/referencing 😆😋

Is this copying? I normally don't draw anime and this was a free art request. I didn't trace but I managed to get good at drawing references so I chose a standing shot from the anime ONLY , thoughts?

How bizzare this drawing was made in 2018, by someone else.
Copying art is one thing but these are commissions?
As someone who should be at least aware of protecting artists rights this is blatant disregard for ethics

Heyo, I do watercolor and gouache art, and I don't trace, unless you count copying my own sketch from regular paper to watercolor paper using my homemade lightbox. I don't think that counts. 🤷

No commissions rn bc my mental health is rough atm, but follows are appreciated. 🥺
