I’m sad to hear of the passing of artist Lee Moder, his work was full of life. Great draftsmanship and wonderful character acting. This was a cover he did for the book I drew Demi-God. One of my favorites. R.I.P.
No idea is perfect from the start. most drafts of things look like chicken scratch. check this original sketch for my Collector pin vs the refined version of the sketch and then the final product.
