Side note: I feel this is what a Trendmasters '55 Godzilla toy would look like had they ever expanded to that.

the mane is a very dark brown or can be substituted for black. the man also doesn't have to come out in exaggerated points for the neck, but rather try and use longer fur for it instead
the whiskers are the same way colorwise

fun fact: the text is spiked because of a glitch in photoshop which can make strokes on vectored text behave funny and "spike" out

so i just took that and, exaggerated it and rolled with it.
