Some of you know I've been trying to understand Kaneko's sudden change in style from 1995 onwards and I've already found many things to be true. One thing is soejima and megumi shiraishi were constant "finishers" coloring Kaneko's work.
I'm working on recording this kaneko and soejima art video and had to pull out my copy of comickers. Forgot how cool it is. Here's a random close up I took because that Ose looks so smug

Want some obscure as hell kaneko trivia? This beautiful art is Kaneko's interpretion of Combattler V from Chōdenji Robo Combattler V. One of the three "Robot Romance Trilogy". The work was possibly for super robot wars which kaneko designed two mechs for.
