Probably my last late entry for #prowlweek cause im just.... tired and it's hard to get personal art out of myself atm.
skipped day 3 and went for day 4: Sensory. Jazz finally gets to touch without a muzzle in the way.
Xeno gets the pleasure of burying his muzzle in the Powerful feet Of the mighty @SaurianThe , such a strong dragon needs their feet in top condition for questing and battling monsters~.. Incredible art by the amazing @Intven96 who did such an amazing job with this picture <3
@straysparkles That's good. I usually just try to copy what I see instead of what the shape is, if that makes sense. What shape would you say the muzzle is? Also sorry if I'm bothering you.
repost because I forgot the muzzle:
I made this for a friend who caught covid. He felt down in the dumps so I thought this would be him feel better.

Still we live our life to the fullest
Still we live our life carrying own life
Even though you kill and muzzle and smile and carry
Just live and live and live and live and live

I like to think I've gotten better with portraying muzzles from front views so that the faces don't look like something out of "Cats" or a human wearing a weird prosthetic top-only muzzle XD But I do still struggle with direct front views
....and they were always *supposed* to have proper muzzles, which is clear when I drew them in profile views. It's the *art* and my attempt to draw muzzles in a foreshortened frontal or 3/4 view that makes me cringe! Here are profile views that don't make me cringe!
@TrevLightkeeper It's not the characters themselves that make me cringe - it's the way I drew them from certain angles. I still have art of both Idan and Dane that I love and I'm very proud of. Usually when I drew them in profile they all had proper muzzles, even the top row characters! XD
Looking thru old art, realized I was trying so hard to make my characters look believably anthro that they started looking like they have almost no muzzle & flattened faces w/large chins in front & 3/4 views (though not in profiles). I think/hope I've found a better balance now!
@NauxTeggle Then I’ll lose my entire belly, gloves, and muzzle. 😱
My third most favorite character is Shadow (I was drawing his muzzle in very strange way 2 years ago XD) . I think that Sonic is 4th from most favorite characters and Infinite is 5th
Old shit won the poll so imma post weird shit.
First on the old art is probably one of my favourites, a piece done by RMK. Youll notice that older daff actually has a muzzle, which i actually liked but it made her get mistaken for a dragon more often than not.
He can't take the muzzle off, all the branches keep breaking ;o;
Flat-coloured chibi for @CyrAshsurg
the real pain is having a handful of high quality pictures that id love to post but they still use daffs old design back when she had a muzzle
This is the most feral I’ve ever been able to successfully draw Muzzless, I’m really starting to understand his mouth. Inspired by a song I’ve heard recently. Go ahead and ask him how he is, he-he’s not okay
Introducing bandanas! These large 24 X 24 polyester bandanas look badass, and when you fold them in half you can wear a muzzle! Tie one over your protective face mask and really make an impression! https://t.co/y7tiVUkULt
