Today I participated in Artgerm's colouring challenge and gave his character Pepper some new tints and tones. It was fun and interestingly I learned some nifty things to improve my own outlines just by getting a closer look at his line work.

Because I’d been so quick, we had a fair bit of time left for digital edits. I tweaked a bunch of colours (radioactive river no more! Washed out walls begone! Roof tiles: uniform!) and made the characters outlines & shapes sharper.

I also hid at least one goose, very fun 👀

I spend a lot of time outlining since I love it! Sometimes my art is *entirely* outlines.

Forgot to mention I colour outlines now too, it's either after the flats or shades depending on the piece.

ok so you can use Anti aliasing to add smoothness to your outlines, and if you're using the program i told you to use you have to do it manually (i did not make this and i can't find the person to credit for it)

I did one of Raffina beforehand but it's really bad but anyways,I tried doing sprite art for the first time using Skyla and heres how it ended up despite me having 0 knowledge of the,I guess,spriting rules.

Did 2 versions cause I didnt like the black outlines but now I kinda do.
