It's not super detailed, but I wanted to post a color ref for my koala sona Hugo, with a few tweaks to his design

Originally, this thing was going to be way bigger and more detailed, but I thought it was starting to stray away too far from the signature Brickheadz style. The first image has a Magneto I was using for scale, and the second features my first attempts at a redesign.

I actually agree, even with Yuki Yuna anime they had to "simplify" the character design. Abec's style is really unique and detailed, making it animated would not give it justice, imo.

First up is the art from The Incredible Painting of Felix Clousseau by Jon Agee. I’m a huge fan of Jon’s work and recently got the reissued version of this brilliant book. Every page is so bold and detailed, it’s fantastic to look at.

..I quoted instead of replying, oops. Well, I've just started drawing again last year. I'm about to make something more detailed, but these are some of my samples for now

Second part of the art trade with 🥺🖤

This girl is just so precious. I already loved her maid oufit, but my heart can't handle this carrot costume 🖤

My OC is really detailed, so I drew another chibi for her to keep it fair!🖤

This page sums up what myself and are going for with Weird Work. Chaos, crazy characters mixed with a classic noir style, a detailed, fully realised world and bullets...lots of bullets
