Tornado's terrain is so lively, but one one of the technical shortcuts I'm noticing it takes is that all roads, runways, railroads, buildings, etc, are on the same flat plane. There are no objects or paths placed on the hills.

A lot of playing with layer effects/colors/etc, just a general playful piece (featuring 👀)

Also including the sketch, to lineart, to completed piece bits for funsies - just one of the ways I do it depending on how many edits need to be made between sketch and lines
