His semi fantasy twist concept are good. Some of his works kinda inspire some of newtima artworks, esp the concept of red string of fate. It was inspired from his works
Makoto Shinkai's works maybe looks like just a romance story in kinda semi fantastical way. but if try to look again, actually his last 3 movies are talking about disasters 🤔
