Here is how to deal with the idea block:

- Leave the task aside for the time being
- Clear your mind with constructive distraction
- Work out!
- Cook something...
- Go outside, appreciate nature!
- Take a bus or go for a drive!

It doesn't matter when it is produced: if harsh criticism doesn't have constructive feedback to improve it, it's automatically garbage to me. I only take into consideration criticism that provides me ways to improve.
