@ItsWonderfish Yeah, Q2 uses tends to use much brighter colours and highlights the different areas more. It also tends to pay less attention to smaller details, like with Chie’s skirt or Yuakri’s jacket having less lines

I like the little outline/drop shadow effect they added to the HOME renders too... it's a pretty small touch but a pretty good improvement. When you're looking at a bunch of the smaller renders in the selection area it reminds me a bit of Pokemon Colosseum's PC look of all things

@DJextracrispy Thank you! I put acetate sheets on the scanner bed and paint as it is passing through.. a bit like action painting on a smaller scale. Then just a bit of adjusting and layering.. some pretty interesting outcomes when the acetate gets moved about, too.

This tip also applies to props.
Start w/simple blockouts & real-world dimensions then increase prop scale slightly by few cm to make them look bulkier.
I found exact real-world dimensions make props look smaller when using FPS or 3rd Person Templates.

Some smaller stuff: a replacement for the Engineer botkiller head on the Sniper Rifle exclusively, done for @skellenaut, and a slight edit of the SF Femme Pyro for @koyotemoone to change the proportions to be more similar to her own body type (mostly in the waist area).

I'm really enjoying this Square Enix smattering of smaller budget title releases. I'll always prefer lots of a variety and new concepts to one multi-million dollar, highly polished project per decade. Sure these titles do not all live up to the hype, but they're so nice to have!
